Cyrus’s eyes were red and tearful. He said, “We’re about to reclaim our southern border towns. I never thought I’d live to see this day. I can die content now.”

Elias knelt on one knee and flatteringly said to Lycan Erasmus, “Lycan Erasmus, your wisdom in sending Adelaide to aid Alpha Lance on the southern border and secure Frostbite Town, along with the ample food supplies and military provisions, is unparalleled. One might even think the Western Tribes‘ wolves have delivered supplies straight to us.”

Adelaide, of course, hadn’t been sent by Erasmus.

The kingdom buzzed with gossip over Adelaide dissolving her mate bond. Many suspected Bloodmoon Pack involvement.

Erasmus first knighted her as Silvermoon Fang, then promised a Golden Claw Gamma promotion upon victory. This demonstrated his high expectations for Adelaide.
