Recalling Jack's relentless desire from the night before, Bella felt a rush of shyness and sweet pleasure.
The way he had attempted to take advantage of her was downright naughty.
Her cheeks flushed slightly as she glared at him, but she couldn't help caressing his face.
When Jack opened his eyes, Bella had already prepared breakfast.
A wave of affection washed over him. "You were so tired last night, yet you still went downstairs to buy breakfast?"
"Because you like it!" She smiled gently.
Seeing the satisfaction on his face, a warmth spread through her heart. Suddenly, she longed to make breakfast for him herself—he would love it, wouldn't he?
But then, a hint of sadness crossed her face. She softly said, "Big Bun, if I ever leave you one day, will you forget me?"
Jack was taken aback. "Why are you saying this all of a sudden?"
Bella fell into silence, her mind in turmoil. Music had been a part of her soul since childhood—her lifelong dream. But she was also deeply attached to Jack, even giving him her most precious gift when they parted.
She said softly, "My mom wants me to transfer to The Montclair Conservatory for further studies."
He was shocked. "Why the sudden transfer? Can't you stay?"
Faced with his plea, she hesitated before finally saying, "I… need to discuss this with my mom."
Jack nodded silently.
After saying goodbye to him, Bella returned to her dorm.
