Zuri laughed at his statement, her eyes shone brightly under the sunlight that filtered through the window. She looked a little bit pale and exhausted, but her eyes were still alive.
"You've grown bolder and bolder just because I showed you kindness." Xaden then threw Zuri on the bed, but she was still laughing like a maniac, even when he stripped her naked.
"What?" Zuri taunted him. "Why don't we invite another man here so you could learn from him too? I have learned my lesson, I think you should learn yours too."
That comment earned her another harsh slap and Xaden ripped off her undergarment. He was already hard for her.
"Is this how your mother has been teaching you?" He grabbed her hair and lifted her head. "Your mother should have taught you better than this about how to satisfy your mate! She has done a great job with your father, you should learn from that."
"Why don't you fuck her instead then?" Zuri laughed again when she saw the look on Xaden's face. Her comment must have caught him off guard. He wouldn't have expected her to be this bold.
"You are crazy."
"You have called me that already, find another nickname for me." Zuri scoffed. Her father had told her that she was crazy. She grew up hearing that word and worse, to the point where she believed them. Yes, she was crazy.
"You are insane."
Despite what he said, Xaden started to thrust into her, knowing she was not ready, but this was not the first time he did this and this time, Zuri welcomed the pain.
More so, no matter how hard Xaden tried to excite her, nothing worked. Her body simply shut down in response to his touch.
And when the pain became unbearable, Zuri tuned out her surroundings, she stared at the ceiling and she felt this numb sensation again. Her mind traveled back to the past when she was only eight.
She watched two young women enter a room with her father. They were not her mother, but her father kissed them. He took them to the bed and made these weird sounds.
But suddenly, someone covered her eyes and took her away from there. It was her mother.
'Momma, what is father doing?'
Her mother didn't say anything and only kissed her cheek, she tucked her in bed and stayed the night. She slept on her bed until the next morning.
The memory slowly disappeared, so was the sight of Xaden.
Now, Zuri was lying alone on the bed. She didn't know how long she had been by herself or how it had ended. Her mind had wandered too far, leaving her lost in thought. freewebnσvel.cøm
She pushed herself up and looked around her.
Xaden apparently had cleaned her up as usual and then covered her in a blanket before he left her. There was a stain of blood on the bed and Zuri blinked at the sight.
