Daniel realized that he wasn't wanted, but he wasn't mad. Instead, he commented with a smile, "Say, do you think Simon and the others will be shocked if I took and sent pictures of how thoughtful and considerate you were earlier?"

Theo frowned, glancing at the restroom. "Do you have nothing else to do?"

"What happened to bros before hoes?" Daniel teased with a smile. Then, he caught a figure approaching them out of the corner of his eyes and decided not to waste time on words.

"Let's hang out sometime. We'll ask Simon to bring Yvette along, and you can bring Sierra too."

This time, Theo didn't turn Daniel down. Instead, he nodded decisively.

By the time Sierra returned, she saw Daniel's retreating figure. "Are you guys done talking already?"

Theo nodded before leading her downstairs.

Meanwhile, Daniel had just taken his seat, and one of his guests asked curiously, "Was that Mr. Gray?"

The others' eyes sparkled when they saw him nodding in response. Then, it was replaced by a hint of regret.

If they had known that Theo was also having a meal here, they would've gone over to greet him, no matter what. It would've been a wonderful opportunity to introduce themselves to him.

Daniel knew what was on their minds. He raised his wine glass and took a sip before mentioning calmly, "It's a good thing that you guys didn't go over. Not only would he feel unhappy, but you actually would've pissed him off."

The others didn't get the underlying message, evident from their blank looks. The man who popped the question earlier mulled it over, and realization struck him. "Was Mr. Gray having a date with his girlfriend?"

Daniel chuckled, but he didn't deny it. Now, everyone at the table gasped in surprise.

Theo was famous for being cold and unapproachable in their social circle. There were plenty of admirers, but he maintained his boundaries and took great care of his reputation. Aside from an earlier scandal with Melody, he wasn't romantically involved with anyone else.

That was why everyone spread the rumor that he kept himself single for her sake.

Daniel and the others knew what the truth was, and they frequently teased Theo about it. He didn't keep himself single for Melody. Instead, he did so because he was a heartless man.
