Upon noticing Sierra's hesitation, Theo pulled her beside him. Then, in a calm voice, he said, "You were exhausted yesterday. I didn't want you getting sick."

Sierra paused mid-bite, feeling his warm palm on her forehead. She instinctively turned her eyes to look at him.

"Be good." He chuckled with a soft voice, gently pressing her head back down.

Realizing how ungraceful she might have looked earlier, she smiled shyly. "Will you be home the whole day?"

Setting his laptop aside, he looked at her. "Yes, I'll be with you all day."

Sierra's eyes brightened with an idea. "Then, do you want to come to school with me?"

"You were so tired yesterday," Theo countered. "Shouldn't you be resting today?"

Popping the last bit of her sandwich into her mouth, she puffed her cheeks out. "I slept for so long, so I'm not tired at all. Since I'm free this afternoon, I might as well go to school and practice the piano.

"There's only a month left until my next competition. I need to finalize my piece and practice. I don't have much time to waste."

At the sight of Theo nodding, Sierra brightened. "Do you want to come to the practice room and listen to me play?"

He had been to her school before but had never visited the music building or seen what her daily life there entailed. He was a little curious, so he agreed after a brief thought.

She happily dragged him upstairs to change, chattering about how she would treat him to lunch at the school cafeteria. Amused by her excitement, he let her lead him without any resistance.

At noon, they arrived at the university.

Many people couldn't help but smile fondly at them. In just over ten minutes, the news that the Queen of the Keys had brought her husband to school had spread across campus.

As they walked, Sierra enthusiastically introduced Theo to the different parts of the school. By the time they arrived at the practice room, half an hour had already passed.

"This is where I usually practice. Have a seat," she said, motioning to a seat before settling in front of the piano.

Smiling at him, Sierra asked, "What do you want to hear? I'll play something just for you."
