After sending the woman and his friends away, the same man walked toward Johnny's table and sat beside Johnny.

"I overheard that you guys were talking about some kind of investment. Is it really that profitable?" William asked, not entirely sure about the whole thing.

Johnny took his phone back and handed it to William calmly. "Mr. Shaw, you must be quite capable to have someone like Mr. Gray as your son-in-law. If you're interested and want in on this deal, I can take you along with me."

Under William's skeptical gaze, he lowered his voice, whispering, "However, you need to give me a small cut of the deal."

It was only then that William felt assured about the whole deal.

After looking through the details on Johnny's phone and asking a few more questions, he mentioned that he needed some time to think things through.

Five days after New Year, Sierra and Theo moved back to Southridge Heights.

At night, they were having dinner when Sierra's phone rang. While looking at the number, her expression had flickered slightly. Then, she answered. "Hello?"

"William has caught the bait and has invited me out for a meal. Are you sure you want me to go along with the plan?"

Lowering her gaze, she insisted, "I'm sure."

The person on the other end scoffed and teased, "Since when did you become so cruel? You're even willing to set up your own father now."

Her expression remained impassive as she instructed, "You just need to do your part. Once you succeed, you'll get your end of the deal."

After the call ended, Sierra turned and realized that Theo was staring at her. Quickly adjusting her hair, she said with a smile, "You should dig in."

Instead of asking her questions, he merely replied, "You can tell me if you need any help. I'm more than happy to help my wife out."

Sierra's hand froze momentarily before she smiled. "Alright."

After finishing their meal, Theo returned to his study. The first thing he did was instruct Adrian to look into what William had been involved in lately.
