Alpha Twins And Their Hybrid Mate novel Chapter 102

I had just stepped out of my room. My muscles ached, but it was a good type of ache. Tristan and Nathan did a number on me last night.

As I closed the door behind me, I saw Ryan standing in the hallway, his face set with grim determination. He caught sight of me and approached with purpose.

“Ella,” he began, his voice low and serious, “I’m heading to the dungeon to interrogate the witch.”

I crossed my arms, narrowing my eyes. “I’m coming with you.”

Ryan shook his head immediately. “You need to rest. You’ve barely recovered.”

“Rest?” I raised an eyebrow, stepping closer. “That witch targeted me, Ryan. You know it as well as I do. She went after me specifically. I need to know why.”

I clenched my fists, frustration bubbling up. “I can’t sit back and do nothing. This isn’t just about Rambo anymore. It’s bigger than him, and you know that. The witch knew something—something about my powers, about me being a white wolf. If I don’t hear it firsthand, we could be missing something crucial.”

Ryan hesitated, his jaw tightening as he weighed his options. I could see the concern in his eyes, the way he glanced at my still-healing wounds. But I wasn’t about to let fear keep me sidelined.

His eyes softened slightly, but his tone remained stern. “Ella, if anything happens—”

“I’ll be fine,” I interrupted, my gaze unwavering.

He sighed, conceding. “Fine. But if it gets dangerous, you get out of there. No arguments.”

I nodded, relief flooding through me. “Deal.”

With a final nod, he turned, leading the way down the corridor. As I followed, a sense of dread and anticipation curled in my stomach. Whatever the witch had to say, I had a feeling it would change everything.

Ryan led the group down the dark, winding stairs to the dungeon, his posture tense, his eyes focused. I followed close behind, my heart pounding, with Nathan and Tristan flanking me on either side. The air grew colder as we descended, the smell of damp stone and decay heavy in the air. The captured witch had been silent for hours, but today, we would get answers.

The cell door creaked open, revealing the witch sitting shackled to the wall, her head down, a tangle of hair obscuring her face. As we stepped inside, her head slowly lifted, and a twisted smile crept onto her lips. Her eyes gleamed with dark amusement, even in her weakened state.

Ryan stood in front of her, arms crossed. “You’re going to tell us everything,” he said firmly. “Why did you agree to follow Alpha Rambo? What did he promise you?”

The witch let out a low, guttural laugh. It started small, but then it grew louder, more unhinged. She threw her head back, laughing as though Ryan had told her the most absurd joke.

I stepped forward, my voice cutting through the madness. “Why are you laughing?” I demanded. “Why did you work with Rambo? What was your plan?”
