ELLA POV
When I slowly opened my eyes in a strange room I noticed that the lights were pretty dim but I could hear arguing in my room by a few different people.
I looked at the end of my bed and I saw Tristan, Nathan and Dean all standing there arguing with each other.
I could tell that tempers were flaring, but they were trying not to get too loud. Not that they were succeeding or anything.
“You two need to go back to where the hell you came from and leave my family alone.” Dean threatened. The vein in Tristan’s neck looked like it was about to bust because he was getting so angry.
“Ella is my first daughter. My first born. So she is the heir to the Stoneheart pack. She’s the future Alpha. A fate that will be sealed the second her wolf awakens…if she bonds with you and becomes your mate, the Stoneheart pack will become a subsidiary of the Blackwood pack. And I will not accept that. I have worked too damn hard to get my pack to where it is today. You are not going to ruin it.” Dean yelled.
The twins just looked like they were getting more and more frustrated and furious because Dean was standing in their way.
“There is nothing wrong with merging the two packs. It won’t have any negative impact. Ella will be strong enough to fulfill both roles. Our Luna and your Alpha.” Nathan said.
“Calvert. If we follow the werewolf rules, we could easily annex the Stoneheart pack. Just remember that.” Tristan threatened. Causing Dean’s face to start changing all sorts of the color red.
“I hope you realize that this screaming isn’t doing anything for my headache.” I said. And they all snapped their heads over to me. Nathan and Tristan were by my side the second they realized that I was awake.
They were fussing all over me, but I just needed them to be quiet at the moment. My head really was pounding.
“Are you alright? How are you feeling?” Nathan asked, leaning over me.
“Why are you all fighting over me like I’m a fucking tool for your all to use?” I asked. And Nathan looked up at Tristan, not knowing what to say. They both looked like they were searching for the right words to say.
I wasn’t too interested in what they were arguing about right now. My mind kept going back to the cabin and what that witch said to me. There was something that was really burning on my mind.
“What is a white wolf?” I asked.
“Where did you hear about a white wolf?” Tristan asked, looking at me curiously.
“The bitch that poisoned me. She said that no white wolf like me was going to break the curse that they’ve tried to keep going for so long.” I explained. And they all looked at each other for a long time.
“It’s true. You really are the white wolf.” Nathan said.
But I was still confused. What was the importance of a white wolf? I know that there are basic white wolves that aren’t werewolves. Aren’t they the same thing?
“You’re the legendary white wolf to break the curse.” Dean said, taking a few steps closer to my bed.
“We weren’t sure because you don’t have your wolf.” Tristan said.
But I still didn’t understand the significance behind it. What was so special about a white werewolf?
“Honey. You’re the only solution to lift the curse on both of our packs.” Dean said.
