It felt strange sitting on the veranda with Sara, talking to her like another human. She wasn’t being mean to me, she wasn’t trying to run me off. She was just being a normal person for a change. It was a side of her that I hadn’t seen before, and really, I didn’t think I would ever see that from her. I guess the guilt of almost getting my killed is what made her realize what a bitch she’d been, all because of jealousy.

“You probably already figured this out, but I am full of jealousy and resentment. But after everything I had worked towards, dad told me that it was all for nothing. So all that hatred and anger was directed at you. I am so sorry about everything I did to you in Seattle.” She said.

Unfortunately, Sara’s behavior actually reminded me of the person that I once was. I never wanted to be that person again. Full of hatred towards my own family. That’s not how family should behave and I know that now.

“Sara. Don’t let me being here stop you from going after what you want. If you want to be Alpha, then do it. It’s your lifelong dream, not mine. Dean says that it’s my birthright because I am the oldest. But I was also raised amongst humans and I only just found out that there are other things walking this earth, other than humans. Trust me, I’m not here to steal that title from you.” I explained.

I could see Sara trying not to cry and she looked really guilty again because of what she did.

“I really hope that we can be friends.” Sara said.

That caught me off guard because I wasn’t expecting it. And there were still a lot of mixed feelings from me towards them.

“You know the way that I grew up. There’s a good chance that I’m not going to recognise Dean as my father. He wasn’t there when I was growing up and I don’t expect him to be there the way that I want him to now. But I would like to have a sister. If that’s still on the table.” I said. And she smiled, excitedly and leaned over and hugged me.

We stayed there talking for a little while when I knew that I had to get home.

Sara reluctantly said goodbye to me and she walked in the house.

I walked down the veranda and just as I was passing the side of the house heading home I saw someone standing there.

“Thank you.” Sierra said, before she walked back towards the back of the house. Probably to sneak in the back so Sara didn’t know that she was listening to our conversation.

I just smiled to myself as I walked home and as soon as I got there the twins were on their feet and dragging me inside.

“Alright. What the hell?” I asked. They both started checking me to make sure that there were no marks on me, which I thought was funny. They were sitting on their verandah watching the whole time so they know that nothing happened to me.

I guess they still had to make sure while I was face to face with them.

I managed to fight them off enough to get upstairs and I started looking for something to wear to bed.

I had to go shopping badly. Or maybe I could back and retrieve my stuff from Marilyn’s house if she didn’t throw it out when she moved.

I was only in the bedroom for a moment when Tristan and Nathan came in and closed the door and they started looking me up and down again.

They wouldn’t stop eyeing me off as I was taking my clothes off to have a shower. But they weren’t eyeing me off the way I wished they were. They were making sure that I didn’t have any marks on me.

So I threw my shirt in the hamper and I was standing there in my bra and pants before Nathan comes over and had a closer look at a shadow that was casting off of my back from the fireplace.

I started laughing at how cautious they were being and Tristan walked closer to me, staring me in the eye with a really serious look on his face.

“You think it’s funny, do you?” He asked, grasping my breast.

“Yeah. I do.” I said, staring him back in the eye.

I wasn’t going to be the one to break eye contact and I believe they were being incredibly ridiculous. I wasn’t as fragile as they thought I was.

Suddenly Nathan pulled my pants forward and his hand was shoved down the front of it.

I grabbed onto his arm, tightly as he found my folds through my panties and started rubbing it.
