Alpha Twins And Their Hybrid Mate novel Chapter 80

The following morning I was woken up by Tristan who was rubbing his hand around my arm and Nathan was still fast asleep.

“How long have you been awake?” I asked, without opening my eyes.

“A little while. Couldn’t sleep.” He said.

“Looks like Nathan can.” I said, looking at Nathan as he was lightly snoring. So I turned around to face Tristan.

As soon as I did he kissed me really gently and then pulled me closer to him so my head was resting on his chest.

“How do you feel?” He asked.

“A little weird. I can feel everything that you’re feeling. I can feel the connection to the pack. All of it.” I said.

“Yeah. It’s a little intense at first.” He said.

“I’ll say.” I said.

I knew that we couldn’t stay in bed forever, but I really did want to. I wanted to stay here, comfortable between my two mates but I knew that it was impossible. There were things to do and it wasn’t long before Tristan started flicking Nathan in the face to wake him up.

“What the hell is your problem?” Nathan asked, rolling over and wrapping his arm around my waist.

“We have to go to the forest base today.” Tristan said.

“Oh crap. I forgot about that.” Nathan said.

We had a forest base that we were had to get to where a lot of other pack members lived and they didn’t come to town that often. They weren’t at the ceremony and we had to go to them.

They were expecting us today and no doubt they were going to be putting together a big party for us, so we couldn’t disappoint them. It was part of our responsibility now.

When we did eventually get up we all had a shower together and we got dressed into comfortable and warm clothes because we could only drive so far to this camp. And then we had to walk the rest of the way.

So as soon as we left the house, Tristan was driving and Nathan was sitting in the backseat while I was leaning against him and we drove for about an hour before Tristan pulled the car over.

When we got out, I had to do up my jacket and I even put on my gloves because it was freezing. We were actually further north than where our town was and I didn’t know how anyone could live up here.

We were at a higher elevation and it was freezing here.

Nathan took my hand and we started walking through the forest, hearing the snow crunching under our feet and I was really glad that the guys had gotten me a lot more clothes now that were more appropriate for up here. Because the stuff that I had at home doesn’t compare to the boots that I’m wearing now.

It took us a while to hike through the forest as we were still going uphill, but when we finally arrived at the base, the one that was in charge was the first one to come over and greet us.

They had all felt the curse being lifted and all of the pack members came out to see the twins and to meet me.
