"Oh yes," Being curious, Arwen suddenly spoke again to ask, "By the way, I really want to know why are you so scared of him. Like whenever I heard you talking about him, I thought you two were very close and that’s the reason you praise him a lot. But only when I saw you in front of him, I got to know that you are actually scared of him."

"He is my elder," Gianna said as a matter of obviousness. "Isn’t it right for me to be a bit scared of him? And actually, that’s not exactly, rather it’s more like respect."

"Respect?" Arwen repeated. "Really?"

Gianna nodded. "Of course, I respect him a lot and that’s why in his presence, I stay obedient. I don’t want him to dislike me, you know."

"What do you mean?" she asked, suddenly getting all interested to know. If you didn’t find him scary at first glance, what else did you perceive him as? I am sure you haven’t seen him as an angel that had appeared out of thin air just to help you."

Definitely not! Arwen didn’t get time to perceive him as anything. He was just there when she was looking for someone who could help her in the situation. He came as the most fortunate coincidence.

"I didn’t see him as an angel," she confessed, and Gianna snapped her fingers as if that’s what she had expected to hear.

"Exactly," she said, "He isn’t one to be perceived as one. I am sure even you might have flinched in his presence, dreaded by the thought that one mistake might make you end at the worst. Isn’t it?" she asked, ready to hear her put a seal of confirmation.

But Arwen shook her head. "No, I didn’t flinch in his presence. Instead, I stared into his eyes for more than ten seconds straight."
