"Mr. Spencer, I'm terribly sorry to trouble you by asking you to come in person."
In the office, the teacher nervously poured a cup of tea for Theodore.
Theodore sat with an icy expression, flanked by two stern-faced bodyguards. The intimidating presence of these men made the teacher break into a cold sweat.
Under normal circumstances, the school would never contact Theodore directly. Any issues were usually handled by his assistant. However, this time, the matter had escalated to a point where Theodore had no choice but to come in person.
Jake had beaten up a classmate so badly that the child lost several teeth and his entire face was swollen. The victim's parents were furious and refused to let the matter go.
However, the moment Theodore arrived at the school, the other child's parents fell silent. They hadn't expected Jake's father to be the Theodore Spencer.
Jake stood beside Theodore in silence, his head hanging low, looking weak and subdued.
His features were delicate and adorable. No one would have imagined that such an innocent-looking child could have beaten a classmate to this extent.
"Mr. Spencer, I must say, your son has beaten my child so badly that he had to be taken to the hospital by his father. His injuries are severe. Even if he is your son, that doesn't mean he can go around hitting people, does it?"
The victim's parents were not ones to be trifled with. Under normal circumstances, they would have crushed the other party completely.
However, facing Theodore, they dared not act rashly. Their anger had to be contained within reason.
Theodore cast a cold glance at Jake. "Did you hit him?"
Jake kept his head down.
"Tell me, why did you do it?" Theodore asked again.
"What does it matter why?" the boy's mother interjected impatiently. "I think you've spoiled him too much, and now he thinks he can do whatever he wants! My son is well-behaved—he never picks fights. But look at him now, bullied like this! He's still so young. What if he suffers lasting damage? This could affect him for the rest of his life!"
Theodore's sharp gaze swept over the woman. "I'm asking my son, not you."
The woman flinched and immediately shut her mouth.

The readers' comments on the novel: Chasing My Pregnant Wife (Rosalie and Theodore)
Why aren't u updating......
Unrealistic. What a comedy. If Sebastian and Rosalie are cousins, their families must have already prevented them to be together abroad. Isn't it bizarre that nobody is doing something to let them know of their family relationship? And pls stop putting Aurora in a high pedestal. Your readers want Rosalie to be genuinely happy, free of stupid misunderstanding. Thank you....
Another garbled story with lots of gibberish. Absolute rubbish. I got to chapter 26 and can't anymore...
Too many people involve.. sigh~ this is like the most angst novel i've read.....
I just wish one thing...that the writer will not bring too many unnecessary and unrealistic twists, too many misunderstanding, miscommunication that gives the reader the hint not to continue with the novel. In the long run, We lost our interest in this kind of unending plot....
Thanks for the update !...
