But after Raymond said that, Dominic’s expression seemed even more displeased. 

Dominic’s tone was calm as he spoke, “So, she didn’t come in because there were people there? She’s clever, she knows how to avoid any misunderstandings 

His words sounded like compliments, but in his tone, it felt more like criticism. 

Raymond couldn’t quite understand Dominic’s feelings, so he just smiled and said, “She’s just being considerate, thinking ahead.” 

Dominic didn’t respond. After resting a bit, he went back to work 

His expression remained unchanged, and his mood seemed as stable as ever. But Raymond noticed that Dominic was not in a great mood. 

She wondered if it was because Vespera didn’t come to see him. 

From Raymond’s point of view, it was actually a good thing that she didn’t come in 

Vespera was a woman of discretion. She wasn’t atter anything, and she was just being considerate by not creating unnecessary gossip for Dominic
