Vespera and Yasmine were both speechless. 

Netherdoor? What was next, demons? 

Dominic sighed. 

He added a line beneath the last note and translated, “There are no cameras here. We can go next door. He probably means the room next to where Ms. Kinsman works.” 

Calvert nodded vigorously, then drew a quick layout on the paper. And to be fair, his drawing was way better than his handwriting. It was clear and easy to follow. 

Dominic told Calvert and Yasmine to stay put. He and Vespera would go check it out. 

Yasmine said she was fine with whatever. 

Calvert figured it didn’t seem dangerous over there, so he agreed, too. 

Dominic and Vespera slipped quietly out of the room. 

This building used to be rented office space, so it was pretty big. And now, with all the spiritual decor and weird setups, the place felt chaotic and maze–like. If they didn’t already know the layout, it was easy to get lost. 

They eventually found the spot Calvert had drawn. 

The door creaked open with just a light push. It wasn’t even locked.
