Extra's Death: I Am the Son of Hades novel Chapter 610

The one possessing Leonora's body raised an eyebrow, already knowing what he wanted.

"Oh?" she said lightly. "Well, I might answer… but I want something in return."

Barbatos didn't answer immediately. He took a breath before he spoke.

"What do you want?"

She lifted her hand and casually extended a single finger toward Nameless Death.

"I want him," she said with a sly smile. "Or rather, I want him to bear children with my daughter."

Silence appeared.

Nameless Death wasn't bothered by her words.

"Daughter?" he asked.

"Blessed Ones have a unique Elemental Seeds. Since I am going to skip the boring explanation, just understand that Blessed are the children of Supreme."

Nameless Death nodded.

Then, he simply gave Leonora's figure a once-over, then shook his head.

"Rejected," he said. "She's not my type."

The Supreme narrowed her eyes, but the smirk remained.

"Why?"

"I prefer someone mature. Not someone who was crying half the time."

For a moment, silence returned. Then, unexpectedly, the Supreme laughed.

Instead of being insulted, she floated a step closer, hands now behind her back as she slowly circled him.

"What about me, then?" she asked.

"I guess—" Nameless Death opened his mouth, but before he could answer, Zagreus cut in.

"No," he snapped. "You can fuck off if that's what you're after."

The Supreme stopped mid-circle and turned to face him. She tilted her head slightly.

"Aren't you afraid I might get angry if you talk to me like that?" she asked.

"You think I don't know about your restrictions?"

Her smile remained, but her eyes grew cold.

"Hmm… I guess I forgot about those."

She floated backward, giving herself space again.

"Still," she added, "I wouldn't recommend talking to the Supremes that way. They might not take it so lightly. Some of them wouldn't stop until you were dead, The One."

Zagreus' eyelids twitched at the title.

He hated that title with passion, but it had stuck with him, since everyone was calling him that at his planet.

Barbatos stepped forward before Zagreus spoke again.

"I apologize, Supreme, but we cannot fulfill that request. Is there anything else you would accept instead?"

"No," the Supreme replied. "I want him to bear my lineage. Because he's going to create a new Path. If I can't have that, then I don't want anything else."

She looked down at her own hands—Leonora's hands—and spoke,

"Looks like time's almost up."

She hovered in place, clearly feeling the strain of possession. The connection was breaking. The Supreme of Water's time in Leonora's body was nearly over.

Still, she gave Nameless Death a sly look and winked.

"My offer stands for you too. If you ever need anything, I can make it happen. The power of Supremes isn't as simple as you think. All you have to do is accept the deal."

She paused, smiled again, and added,

"Actually, let me give you a freebie. You should head back quickly if you—"

"Now, now, my dear," a new voice interrupted.

The tone was smooth yet venomous.

"Aren't you giving them a bit too much information?"

Everyone turned.

The space behind them twisted, and crackled.

Chaos Elementals flowed together, writhing like molten shadows.

They pulled inward, folding into themselves until they formed a red silhouette.

Berserker.

His voice followed his arrival.

"Long time no see, dear," he said. "Still as big of a bitch as you were back then, I see."

Leonora's possessed form turned toward him. She didn't flinch. If anything, she looked amused.

"Haha. I see you are still hurt because I rejected you back then."

"Rejected?" he said. "I'd rather die single than be with a bitch who brags about getting fucked by a gigolo."

Her smile didn't waver.

"Now, now," she said sweetly, copying his words, knowing it ticked him off. "Are you sure you want to talk like that about him? What if he gets angry?"

The tension rose again.

Nameless Death and Zagreus noticed that the Supreme of Water was straining Leonora's body to maintain the possession.

And she was doing it for one reason: to insult Berserker for longer.

He gave her a strange look.

Berserker, however, just chuckled.

"Let him be angry," he said. "That coward's been hiding for years. No way he'll show up just for this, and…."
