Thalion nodded his head in appreciation, "That’s a good question, most don’t consider it and only think about how one can create an Affinity Rune. So to answer that, a normal Tier 1 Awakener can hold up to 3 Tier 1 Spells in their Sea of Consciousness. The more spells you have, the greater the load it will place on your SoC."

Orion thoughtfully nodded and became silent, letting the others ask questions.

Elias, who had been silent throughout the lecture, raised his hand.

Thalion’s gaze shifted towards him, "Elias Marrow, yes? What question do you have?"

Elias sat up straight and said in a calm and composed tone, "Aren’t three spells too little? How many spells can higher-tier Awakeners hold?"

"Another good question." Thalion nodded his head. "As I just said, a First Tier Awakener can hold up to 3 spells, and with each consecutive level, the number of spells one can hold increases by 3. So a Tier 9 Awakener can hold up to 27 spells."

The students began murmuring upon hearing this, the commoners among them discussing it the most.

"Only 27 spells?"

"Isn’t that too little?"

"I thought we’d be able to use hundreds of spells by then."

The noble student nodded and scribbled something in his rune book.

Arya nudged Orion gently, smiling. "Got the answers to your questions?"
