"Wait, wait, wait." He gestured with his hands to stop for a second. "You are telling me you are a commoner who was adopted by the Helstorm family and became a noble?"
Orion chuckled and nodded, "Yes."
Elias couldn't help but look at him with an incredulous look, "…How long has it been since they adopted you?" ƒreeωebnovel.ƈom
"Not even three months," he said.
Elias couldn't believe what he was hearing, yet he didn't think Orion would lie about this just for him to join. Since Orion's talent was way above his own.
"So, you as a commoner have the greatest talent in the history of this kingdom?" he asked with a slightly raised voice.
Orion raised an eyebrow, "Hmm, you can say it like this. I do not belong to any human noble or royal lineage as far as I'm aware."
Elias laughed so hard that he had to place a hand on his stomach to not hurt it, "Hahahaha this is so ridiculous that the nobles will roll in their sleep if they learned of this."
Orion shook his head, "So, are you ready to hear what I have to say? Let's sit down now."
Elias shook his head, laughter still rumbling softly as he slowly recovered, wiping a tear from his eye. He glanced at Orion, his eyes bright and sharp, filled with curiosity and newfound interest. "Alright, Orion—let's sit. I'll at least listen to what you've got to say now."
Orion smiled gently and nodded. He gestured towards the shaded benches near the training grounds, shaded by a cluster of large trees whose leaves rustled softly in the pleasant breeze.
They walked over silently and sat down, settling comfortably on the polished wooden bench. Around them, other students continued their training or chatted quietly, unaware of the important discussion unfolding.
Elias stretched slightly, adjusting his posture as he turned to face Orion more directly. "Alright, go ahead. Explain this club idea of yours. And just for the record, you being adopted doesn't entirely erase the fact that you're technically a noble now."
Orion chuckled, raising his hand slightly. "Fair enough. But you should know—I haven't exactly embraced the whole noble persona fully yet. That's also partially why I'm creating this club. I don't want it to be an elitist noble-only club. Instead, I aim for it to be a group of exceptionally talented individuals who come together based purely on their skills and potential."
Elias raised a curious brow, arms crossed as he regarded Orion with genuine interest. "Interesting approach. And you've convinced Arya and Emilia already? They're always with you after all."
Orion nodded, a faint smile playing at his lips. "Yes, Arya agreed almost immediately. Emilia followed soon after. They understand that talent doesn't care about noble lineage—it's purely about merit. I want the rest of the top ten students to join as well. You're the first I approached after them, actually."
[Didn't she join because she was bored? And Emilia joined because Arya joined. And noble kids have better talent due to their ancestors who reached high enough level. (⊙_☉)]
'Minor details, ignore them. I'll just say what he wants to hear for now.'
Elias's eyes widened slightly in genuine surprise, clearly impressed. "You're really serious, aren't you? A club with the academy's top ten freshmen would be a powerhouse—That is, if you can gather us all. But after you gather us, what exactly is your plan? You won't just have us sitting around doing typical club activities like tea parties or pointless meetings, right?"
