Then her gaze turned toward the sealed wall behind her, a wall inscribed with the names of the academy’s top ten historical prodigies.
It flickered faintly.
Just once.
And then the light returned to normal.
The Dean’s lips curled into a faint smile. "Let’s see how far you go, Brat of the Helstorm."

Outside of the academy, beside a luxurious carriage, stood two men, laughing and talking with each other.
"So, what did you find about the elf Master brought back?" Edgar directly asked Lucan.
Lucan rubbed his neck and looked around, "About that, I found the hunter group but there wasn’t much info I could find. They only found her unconscious in the forest, and since their vice leader was already injured, they hurriedly came back to the city."
Edgar frowned his brows, "This is troublesome. We really can’t find anything about the girl?"
Lucan leaned over and softly whispered, "We can ask Lady Selene to soul search the elf."
Edgar slapped the back of Lucan’s head, "You idiot, do you hate me so much that you want me to get beaten by Lady Selene!?" he cursed out loud while pointing at him.
Lucan hurriedly stepped back and rubbed the back of his head, "Cough, it was only a suggestion. I’m also quite interested in knowing where she is from."
"Then we have to wait, or we might never know. As long as Young Master is safe, it is none of our business where she is from." Edgar shook his head and stood back up straight.
"Right, right, Young Master. Isn’t he quite late? It’s nearly evening and I thought he would get back soon." Lucan turned back to look at the Academy’s gates, which were now less crowded compared to earlier in the day.
However, there were still carriages of nobles present as they waited for their Young Masters or Young Ladies to return.
Edgar stroked his beard and thoughtfully said, "Hmm, I think Master told me that Lady Arya will also attend the academy."
Hearing his words, Lucan raised an eyebrow and weirdly laughed, "Senior Edgar, do you think Young Master Orion is busy with... Lady Arya?"
Edgar’s lips twitched, "You want a beating today or what? If someone from the Royal Family heard you, then both our heads will be on the ground."
Lucan proudly laughed and shook his head, "Oh come on, don’t be so dramatic. We both know Master Edgar won’t let that happen."
They both continued to bicker with each other until they saw Orion exiting the academy. They stood straight and welcomed him back.
"Young Master! I hope your test went well." Edgar welcomed him back with a bow.
Lucan quickly followed after him, "Hehe, how can anything go wrong with our Young Master? I’m sure Young Master showed those spoiled nobles what true talent looks like."
Edgar’s lips twitched. Out of all the things in the world, if Lucan was better than him at something, it was bootlicking. And he was miles better than himself.
’Should I get some lessons from him? Hmm... maybe it can be helpful for the future.’ he thought to himself.
"Yes, it went well. Let’s go back, I don’t wanna be late." Orion nodded his head and boarded the carriage.
The two of them looked at each other, and Lucan softly whispered, "He seems to be in quite a hurry."
Edgar shook his head and turned around, "Let’s hurry back home then. Maybe he’s excited to share his results with Master and Lady."
He boarded the carriage as Lucan shrugged and jumped onto the carriage. He moved the carriage as it began rolling through the pristine streets of the second ring back toward the mansion.
