"It's your turn, Brother Long," Nan Hua said after she put down the go piece.
Long Qian Xing looked at the board in front of him solemnly. In terms of skills, Nan Hua was also very good, which made the game even more enjoyable. The two of them competed along the journey and one game of go could last for several incense stick of time.
The main reason was that the two of them would think about which path to take would be better.
Because in their first game, the two of them found out that the other party was setting up traps in various unexpected places.
The end result was that they kept on 'eating' each other's pieces and the game board was very messy. Later on, the two of them started to become smarter and thought hard about which path was better to avoid the other party purposely trapping them.
The result?
One game could last for an extremely long time.
For the two people who were fighting, it was nothing much.
But other people who were watching them were honestly bored. Because they couldn't understand why these two people had to think for such a long time just to pick one move.
"You're playing seriously, Hua'er," Long Qian Xing said seriously.
"Yes," Nan Hua replied calmly. "Brother Long has good skills and if I'm not careful, I'll lose miserably."
Lose miserably?
Their games were mostly lose, win, lose, win. Or in other words, Long Qian Xing won one round and then Nan Hua would win the other round. There didn't seem to be any intention of releasing water for each other.
Considering their nature and competitiveness, it was not that strange.
No matter what they competed in, they would give it their all.
Though, after they won or lose, they would just ask simple request from the other party no matter what kind of competition they had.
"If you're so serious, I might be the one who will lose miserably." Long Qian Xing chuckled, amused at Nan Hua's words.
Nan Hua only looked at Long Qian Xing, waiting for him to make his move on this game. The two of them seemed to have calculated various steps that they could take and the opponent might take, preparing themselves to trap the other party.
Unfortunately, no matter how much they calculated, the other party could come up with some new methods that they hadn't thought before.
It was really interesting.
And it was also because of this that the two of them could maintain this go game that lasted for a few incense stick of time.
"If you're tired, remember to rest," Long Qian Xing reminded as he pointed to the cushion behind Nan Hua. Even if the game was fun and all, the most important thing is Nan Hua's safety and health.
He would not want to do anything that could possibly threaten Nan Hua.
His grandmother warned him that pregnant women got tired more easily, so he had asked the servants to prepare more blanket and cushion in their carriage. In this way, Nan Hua could rest at all times when she wanted to.
"I know, Brother Long," Nan Hua replied softly and leaned back.
She was used to live a life of discipline. This made her feel more comfortable and her body has been trained that way too. However, there were times when she suddenly feel a bit tired even when she hadn't done much.
