Marie looked at the aggressive Caleb. She was in disbelief at both his actions and words.

"Are you… Are you Cal?"

Had he just called Cecily an outsider and said that she'd gone senile? How could these words possibly come out of Caleb's mouth?

As Jaxon heard Marie's doubtful words, his heart skipped a beat, and he knew that his actions were out of character.

Just as he was about to explain and cover up his mistake, he noticed that Marie seemed genuinely upset. She pulled out her phone and was about to dial a number.

"I… I can't handle this anymore. You've become completely unreasonable. I'm calling Alex to have him come back right now and Adam too. They'll deal with you."

Though Marie questioned if he was Caleb, it had never crossed her mind he wasn't. She didn't suspect anything strange about Cecily either.

Yet though Marie hadn't thought much about it, Jaxon saw her actions in a different light. He assumed that he'd been exposed.

Even if he hadn't, the rest of the Jensens might start to suspect the body takeover if she called for them.

In a panic, Jaxon lunged forward to snatch the phone out of her hands.

Marie was once again stunned. She looked at Caleb only to see his face contorted with anger.

His voice was low and filled with menace as he warned her, "Old hag, mind your own business!"

Marie was utterly stunned. She'd lived long enough to know that something was wrong from his reaction.
