Suddenly, Hank found himself surrounded by a crowd.
"Yo, what's happening? What the heck just happened? Hank?"
"No way. Is that special someone the devil's incarnate?"
"For real, though? Is this a prank?"
"Come on. Tell us the truth now!"
Hank, suddenly losing access to fresh air, became somewhat stiff. "It is what you saw! So, stop mobbing me!"
Seriously, that couple was the one openly displaying their relationship status! It wasn't him who exposed their relationship!
Once Hank finally squeezed out of the crowd, he left the party and headed downstairs to call his chauffeur. The chauffeur sounded somewhat nervous. "Mr. Cooper has taken the car with Ms. Shannon. I've called for another car, and it might take about 30 minutes…"
Hank descended into a prolonged silence before asking, "Why did he take our car? Didn't he drive himself here?"
"He did, but he told his chauffeur to drive it home. Besides… We borrowed our car tonight from him."
Technically, it wasn't his car because neither of those cars belonged to the Jensens. The reason why Benjamin told his chauffeur to drive his car back home was because he didn't want anyone else to ride in his car.
Hank was at a loss for words. So, did he get left behind? He came with Shannon yet was left alone in the end… How ridiculous!
…
Meanwhile, Shannon and Benjamin sat in the back passenger seats. Looking at the unfamiliar man in the driver's seat, she stated curiously, "He doesn't look like your chauffeur."
Benjamin nodded calmly. "Yeah, that's my assistant, Nick."
