“You!” Emma was so infuriated that she was at a loss for words. All she could do was glare at him with gritted teeth as if she wanted to tear him apart right then and there.

However, Yannick showed no fear. He apologized carnestly, “Ms. Patel, I’m truly sorry for causing you to lose the project. If you wish to fire me when we return, I won’t object.”

In a fit of rage, Emma let out a derisive laugh. “Do you really think I don’t have the guts to fire you?”

Yannick shrugged. “I respect your decision.”

Upon hearing those words, Emma was truly left speechless.

She never could have imagined that the top talent she had spent a fortune to recruit would treat her this way. She was instantly livid.

Having witnessed that scene, Olivia couldn’t help but find it extremely amusing. Her gaze toward Yannick was tinged with a newfound interest. This person wis quite amusing, especially when he didn’t show Emma any mercy. I must say, I like his vibe.

Yannick felt a bit embarrassed by the compliments, scratching his head as he said, “Compared to you, I still have a long way to go.”

Then, he asked again, “Ms. Monroe, may I have your contact information?”

Olivia outrightly rejected the offer. “No, it’s not necessary. If you wish to discuss work, you can simply contact my assistant.”

Yannick couldn’t help but feel somewhat disappointed.

The countenance of Nathan softened a bit when he heard that.

“Mr. Carter, there’s no need to see us out.” Olivia turned to give him a slight nod, then led Benjamin into the elevator.

As the elevator doors closed, Yannick couldn’t help but feel a pang of regret.
