After getting out of the car, Nathan scanned his surroundings, the dimly lit environment causing him to frown.

“Are you sure Harry was really here?” He asked.

Ethan nodded. “Absolutely certain.”

Nathan’s eyes slowly narrowed. He said in a deep voice, “I hope we can successfully meet with Harry today.”

He came there that day all for the sake of Harry.

Three years ago, he went abroad to do business. Unfortunately, he was accidentally attacked and poisoned. Although he was promptly rushed to the hospital, he was left with some lingering ailments and residual

toxins.

Over the past three years, he had sought help from numerous doctors. However, each one, upon reviewing his medical reports, could only shake their head in a helpless manner, indicating their inability to assist.

He had heard of Harry’s renowned reputation a while back, contemplating that perhaps his medical skills could cure the root of his illness.

However, Harry was elusive, roaming the world with no one knowing his whereabouts. Thus, he constantly sent people to track Harry down.

It was not until that day that he received the news stating that Harry was at the underground marketplace.

Initially, there was no need for him to make that trip personally. However, apart from his objective of seeking medical treatment, he had another purpose in mind, which was to claim Harry for himself.

Ethan was well aware of Nathan’s condition. On typical days, there were no issues. However, during rainy days or winter, occasional bouts of illness would occur.

Whenever Nathan fell ill, it felt like a piercing heartache, almost as if it could claim his life.

Hence, Nathan’s illness couldn’t be neglected.

“Let’s go in, Mr. Carter,” suggested Ethan.

Nathan took long strides, heading toward the entrance.

Quickly, Ethan followed suit.

Though it was referred to as an underground marketplace, it was essentially a place similar to a bar.

Inside, there was dim and confusing lighting, deafening music, and the men and women moving ely together on the dance floor created a lively atmosphere.

“Though this place was a chaotic mix of people, there were specific individuals assigned to manage it.” As Benjamin guided Olivia further inside, he whispered into her ear, “I’ve heard that the boss here is involved with the underworld, known for being particularly ruthless and merciless.”
