Chapter 129 Reconsidering
“You don’t seem like someone on the brink of death, too.” Nathan gave Olivia a profound look, his words laced with sarcasm.
Olivia choked a little, thinking, This man’s so petty!
Even though she didn’t want to engage in much conversation with him, she still offered an explanation. “I’m not the one who need the medicine.”
Nathan narrowed his eyes. “Who is supposed to use that?”
Olivia fell silent. She didn’t intend to respond.
As long as he knew that the medicine wasn’t intended for her, that was all that mattered.
The surroundings had quieted down.
As Olivia was unwilling to elaborate, it led to a standoff between the two parties where neither was willing to back down.
Harry, who was standing to one side, was thoroughly enjoying the spectacle. His beautiful phoenix eyes curved in
amusement.
He shifted his stance against the wall, arms crossed over his chest, and suggested, “Since both of you seem so eager, why don’t you have a match?”
His lively personality was simply not accustomed to such a stifling atmosphere.
Exasperated beyond endurance, Olivia turned to glare at him. He seemed to thrive on chaos!
Harry raised an eyebrow at her, making no effort to hide his inner excitement.
Olivia clenched her teeth in frustration. She really wanted to give him a piece of her mind before anything else.
Seeing her gaze turn perilous, Harry let out a sigh, his face etched with helplessness as he said, “All right then. Since neither of you are willing to back down, I guess I’m the one who has to make the choice.”
Both Olivia and Nathan were watching him, each with questions in their hearts, wondering who he would ultimately choose.
Harry rested his gaze on Olivia’s face, smirking. He said, “Considering that you have saved me once, Miss, I can help you this time.”
It took Olivia a few seconds to register what he said, and then she asked uncertainly, “Are you really serious?”
She was truly afraid that he was just all talk.
After all, it wasn’t beyond him to do such a thing.
Harry nodded. “A real man never goes back on his words.”
Upon hearing that, Olivia finally breathed a sigh of relief, a wave of joy washing over her. King was finally going to be saved.
Then, Harry turned his head to look at Nathan. “I apologize, mister.”
He was uttering apologies, but his tone didn’t seem to carry any genuine remorse.
Nathan’s eyebrows were tightly furrowed, his face clearly showing some displeasure.
Ethan was frantic. He quickly stepped forward and asked, “Dr. Anderson, can’t you make an exception? Can’t you save both of them?”
After much difficulty in locating Harry, Ethan really didn’t want to fall short of success.
“Ethan, let it be,” Nathan voiced out.
“Mr. Carter…” Ethan turned his head to look at him, his expression scrious.

Nathan was not the type to force others. Thus, if Harry was unwilling, then he would let it be.
