she still didn’t know who the “bold guy” was, but that didn’t stop her from helping him, especially since the other guy was Wyatt.
Although the Wyatt family didn’t care about a small bet, the idea of giving him a hard time delighted her. Even her eyes were smiling. “Come on. It’s getting late. I’ll walk you back.” Rhett said, picking up her school bag. He was surprised by how heavy it was.
Luna looked a little embarrassed. “I can carry it myself. Thanks, Rhett.”
“No need. Let’s go.” Rhett looked stem when he wasn’t smiling. He slung her bag over his shoulder and walked ahead, leaving her no chance to argue Jshe could only follow obediently, like a quiet little duckling
It was too late to head back to her dorm, so Luna returned to Suzie’s quarters for the night. At the door, she quickly snatched back her bag and dashed upstairs. Bye, Rhett!”
Rhett sighed. Why did she run off like a timid rabbit–yet she was kind of adorable!
Once he saw the light switched on upstairs, he turned and headed back, pulling out his phone as he walked. He immediately saw Luna’s p

He tapped out a reply under her tag. “A young lady with great resolve! The future holds great things for her.”
Back at his desk, Wyatt stared at Luna’s latest post, seething as he slammed his mouse down in frustration.
He ignored it. Soon, the screen showed several missed calls from Ethan, Russell, and Kevin. Everyone was calling him. No one had expected Luna to be serious about not coming back
