After all, Seline was indeed the person who led Suzanne upstairs to change. Right now, Seline was in a mess while Suzanne was completely fine. This certainly made people suspicious. 

Looking at Seline with a hint of hurt in her eyes, Suzanne explained, "What are you talking about? I went to get changed after you brought me upstairs. By the time I was done, you were gone. I've just been resting in the room next door." 

Deep down, Suzanne chuckled coldly. Seline was such a fool for trying to push the blame onto her even at a time like this. 

By now, Jenson fully understood what the situation was. Seline tried to lie but only ended up being at a disadvantage. If this went on, she was probably just going to embarrass herself even further. 

Suddenly, he shouted, "That's enough!" 

Jenson took deep breaths. Now that the situation had come to this, he had to minimize any damage that could happen to himself. 

Otherwise, he could imagine the kinds of negative sentiments that would end up being spread about him. This would definitely affect his career as a celebrity. 

Everyone directed their attention toward Jenson, assuming that he would stand on Seline's side. After all, they were a couple. 

However, he looked at Seline with disappointment in his eyes. "I brought you to this banquet in consideration of the fact that our families are family friends. I can't believe that you'd do something like this." 

Seline widened her eyes in shock. She stared at Jenson in disbelief. Was he trying to draw the line between them right now? Her hands and feet went cold. 

No! She couldn't allow this to happen! 

With tears streaming down her face, she looked at Jenson and shook her head. "Jenson…" 

Nonetheless, Jenson appeared regretful as he fixed his eyes on Seline. He said, "Please don't tell others that you're my girlfriend moving forward. It won't do you any good. If you're looking to date someone, I'm happy to introduce people to you." 

This was, without a doubt, a clear denial of the relationship between them. 

All color drained from Seline's face. Everything was over! 

The crowd stared at Seline in disdain. "So, they're not actually a couple? I thought she was telling the truth."
