Chapter 16

party filled with horny teenagers I don’t know.” 

“You’re a horny teenager!” I exclaimed. “And I’m perfectly safe with you. You haven’t done anything.”

teeth. “Believe me, Flors. It’s very hard.” 

I didn’t say anything at that. 

“You have no idea the things guys say about you, alright?” He continued. “The things they want to do to you. I’m not going to let anyone else lay a hand on you.” 

“Oh my God, Felixx. You’re acting like I’m going to an orgy.” 

“How the fu- How do you know what an orgy is 

“Because I’m not a child!” I stressed. “You think I’m twelve, Felix. I’m sixteen, now!” 

“I know how old you are.” He snapped. 

“And who even gave you the job of protecting me? You’re my friend, not my bodyguard.”

in front of my house with a jerk, and I got out of the car hurriedly, walking inside without a look back. I didn’t need to. I knew he 

wouldn’t leave till I had 

made it inside. That was just how Felix was. No matter how mad he got, I knew he always had my back. And I had yelled at him so much for it today, but I was grateful for him protecting me. He was the only one who did. 

Back at home, I ran upstairs to my mother’s room. She was curled up in bed while some classical music played from a vinyl. 

“Mom! Can I go to a party tonight?” 

She didn’t even spare me a glance, but instead asked, “Is Felix going?” 

“Yes.” I lied. She didn’t need to know. A harmless lie. 

“Then you can go. Just don’t be out too late.” I nodded and was about to walk in, but then Mom said, “Close the door behind you, Flora,” which I took as my signal to leave. 

1 ate some strawberries because I was a little hungry, and then I did some homework. I knew I wouldn’t have any time in the night, and I’d probably be too tired in the morning, and 1 didn’t want to lag behind. After that, I took a long shower. I wanted to look nice today so I washed my hair and conditioned them, and used two types of cleansers for my skin. Then I moisturized with a vanilla scented moisturizer. Felix loved this one on me.

Tilly would be here soon, I thought. Though I had asked her to bring a top I liked for me, I still decided to have a look at my own clothes. I didn’t have any clothes that could be considered hot. I only had some flowery dresses, huge, fuzzy sweaters and some cute skirts. I liked my clothes but I didn’t have anything very revealing or even tight 

Hannah knocked at my door to let me know Tilly was here. She entered my room with a huge bag in her hand. “I got you options!” She sa She was wearing a really cute black dress. When she turned, I saw that it basically had no back. 

“You look so hot.” I gushed. 

“Thanks!” Tilly grinned. “I hope Remy likes it. I want to lose my virginity tonight.” 

“My eyes widened. “You’re going to have sex? I whisper–yelled. I don’t know why I was whispering. No one could hear us. 

said excitedly. 

She nodded excitedly. “After the party we’ll go back to his place. His parents aren’t home and we can sneak past his older sister.” 

We both squealed. “I’m so excited for you!” I told her. I was excited, and also maybe a tad bit jealous, I hadn’t even had my first kiss yet. 

“I’m nervous.” She confessed. “But I’m excited too.”
