Jaxson furrowed his brow, “Why did you let her go?”

Cynthia nodded.

He leaned back in his chair,“Go check if they have a criminal record. If they do, don’t let them out.”

At noon, Charlotte went back to the hospital.

Caroline saw her and approached with a worried look, “Dr. Sutton, why didn’t you attend the reception last night? The government officials were waiting for you for a long time. Where did you go–”
