As the Burkes traced the aura through the starry sky, they soon witnessed the sudden unfolding of an extraordinary celestial display. They were overwhelmed with astonishment as they realized the phenomenon heralded the birth of Lumigold. Gerry, the leader, looked even more agitated at that moment, not out of concern that Severin and his party might arrive first, but because he feared that the celestial spectacle would draw the attention of other prodigies.
Haunted by past experiences where the Burkes's past generation of disciples had perished while competing for Lumigold against other prodigies, he shouted, "Quick! We need to secure the Lumigold before other people do!"
A sense of urgency swept across them as they released their spiritual power and raced toward the phenomenon in the sky. After Severin crossed the threshold of the restricted area, he discovered a vast cave that had been seemingly hand-carved and furnished with stone benches and tables. The cave, though not expansive, housed several items suspended within the center, all of which were cloaked in a restriction.
Within the initial restriction lay two pieces of metal, one the size of a baby's fist and the other about the size of a walnut. They radiated a golden light, pulsating with an aura that seemed to command the very rules of heaven and earth. Callie, who was trailing just behind Severin, could not help but to exclaim, "Lumigold!"
Though Severin had witnessed many things in the past, the sight of Lumigold left him deeply shocked. The two pieces of Lumigold, one larger and one smaller, surpassed any heavenly or earthly treasures that Severin had encountered in the past. The aura and scriptures of philosophy that emanated from them were unparalleled, dwarfing even the precious metal Uru.
Severin suppressed his excitement and shifted his gaze from the Lumigold to several items beside it. On an elevated stand alongside the Lumigold was a small orange-red sapling. The sapling resembled a shrub that was crowned with three small fruits. The thumb-sized fruits emitted waves of warm energy and a potent medicinal fragrance. The aroma alone seemed to loosen the breakthrough barrier in Severin's body, leaving him feeling warm and weightless.
Beside him, Callie was stunned. Once she regained her senses, she exclaimed, "This, this is the ten millennia-old Ruby Spiritual fruit!"
Severin nodded in confirmation. "Yes. It is a unique herb whose medicinal properties intensify with age. A thousand years ago, it might have been a fourth- or fifth-grade herb, but beyond a thousand years, its potency rivals that of sixth- or seventh-grade herbs. A five-thousand-year-old red fruit is equivalent to a seventh-grade herb, serving as a crucial ingredient for refining various seventh-grade pills. If added to the Grandispirit Pill that I previously refined, it would elevate it to a seventh-grade high-rank pill! The one we see before us now is ten-thousand-years old!"
