A prodigy like Francis would only regard level five paragon as that of a minimum threshold! Everyone below level five was insignificant! Gerry and Halbert might be formidable, but their combat power did not surpass that of a level five paragon. Francis also learned from elsewhere that Severin possessed an elite-quality spiritual treasure, which in desperate circumstances could be used to kill a person two levels higher.
Severin victory over Gerry and Halbert might be surprising, but Francis viewed it as being of little consequence. However, Damian's death shocked Francis. As a member first in the sequence of rankings within the Grandiuno Sacred Land, he had never personally fought against Damian but knew much about the dragonoid prodigy, Damian. It was said that Damian's body was so strong, and so filled with vitality and dragon blood that it far surpassed practitioners of the same level. It was no exaggeration to say that his attainment alone was more than intimidating enough to leave many people in despair!
Severin, however, successfully mounted a comeback with the attainment of a level four paragon! Francis was incredibly surprised. At that moment, a disciple stood up and said, "I heard rumors that the monsteroids are chasing Severin is because he snatched a map from them..."
It was no longer a secret that Severin was likely in possession of the Starry Ancient Palace's token. The notion had been suspected as early as when the monsteroid sent Damian to pursue him, and was only further cemented when they raised the bounty for Severin following Damian's demise.
After some detailed investigation, everyone soon learned about Leigh's pursuit of Spencer. The only thing that could make the monsteroid wage war in such a manner was the Starry Ancient Palace's token!
Many came to the same conclusion after understanding the whole story. Francis then muttered to himself, "So it is about the Starry Ancient Palace then?"
