Life After Prison by Silencieux novel Chapter 2461

Simeon and Karl remained shaken by Severin's unexpected opportunity to become an immortal. Oskar could not help but breathe a sigh of relief as he witnessed his disciples safely withdrawing from the void. As the leader of the Grandiuno Sect, Oskar was acutely aware of the perils within the Starry Sky Battlespace, which—for all its allure of treasures and opportunities—was like a minefield that claimed the lives of many prodigies across Bleurealm.

A prodigy who made no growth whilst in there could never be considered a prodigy at all, and Oskar had encountered too many instances where promising talents met untimely ends. The return of his three top prodigies brought relief, and with two out of three of his sect's prodigies safely returned, the Grandiuno Sect appeared relatively strong compared to others like the Purevoid and Marvair Sects, who had sent out two disciples but only received one back.

Jason, the leader of the Deifirm Sect, shared a similar sentiment. Simeon, his only son and a prodigious talent, had ascended to the second level of paragon at a tender age. Jason could not bear the thought of losing his son in the Starry Sky Battlespace, and was overcome with relief upon seeing Simeon unharmed. Pride swelled within him as he noted his son's attainment inching closer to that of level three paragon. A breakthrough was only a matter of time.

"You did amazing! Well done!" Jason patted Simeon on the back and praised the young man's progress.

On the other end, Oskar also took note of Karl's improved attainment during their expedition. He stroked his beard thoughtfully and commended Karl's progress, "I'm happy to see that you're on the cusp of reaching level three paragon. I'm sure you benefited a lot from this trip."

Of the three disciples sent in by the Grandiuno Sect, two had exited safely. The gains made by Spencer and Karl in the Starry Sky Battlespace had taken their attainment up a notch, thus securing their bright future. It was especially true if they managed to secure any treasures during their venture.

Yet, amidst the praise and celebrations, both Simeon and Karl could not help but feel overshadowed by Severin's remarkable achievement. While their own gains were noteworthy, they paled in comparison to Severin being able to become an immortal. Simeon grappled with the desire to inform everyone about how Severin managed to encounter the True Immortal's essence, but he ultimately remained silent out of reluctance to dampen his father's joy.

As time elapsed, the portal atop the mountain began to contract. Roman of the Purevoid Sect watched with trepidation as one of his disciples failed to emerge. With the portal growing smaller, it was almost certain that Soran had met an unfortunate fate. Roman sighed and said, "No one can dictate destiny."

Similarly, Oskar's mood darkened as Severin failed to appear even though the portal was about to close. Severin was his most promising disciple, and he dreaded to think that something might have happened. The unsettling possibility weighed heavily on Oskar's heart.
