The loot was so bountiful! Severin felt that many royal paragons probably did not have fortunes as great as his. Ten eighth-grade herbs was enough for him to safely cultivate to level five royal paragon without worrying about the issue of cultivation resources.
After storing all the herbs into his spatial ring, Severin continued to explore the ninth with his divine sense. He searched through the entire space several times until he was satisfied that he had not missed any corner. Only then did he retract his divine sense.
Looking at the herbs already secured in his possession, Severin's face flushed with excitement. "I never expected that the ninth floor of the Alchemy Tower would actually contain the precious herbs left behind by the sect's ancestors."
He felt somewhat fortunate about his decision. Luckily, he had not agreed to Oskar and Carson's summons that day to go to Midland. Instead, he chose to first advance to become a seventh-grade alchemist, then break through his cultivation, and finally come to the Alchemy Tower for a try. He would have missed out on the herbs if he had agreed to Carson's proposal to go to Midland. Shaking his head to clear his thoughts, Severin smiled as he stepped out of the Alchemy Tower.
Wrapped in a large amount of spatial energy, the surrounding environment changed dramatically, and after a moment, Severin appeared at the entrance of the Alchemy Tower. His appearance immediately caused various exclamations in the Alchemy Tower square.
"Look! It's Severin!"
"Severin really broke through to the ninth floor!"
"I wonder what he has gained there."
"The ancestors of the sect must have left some inheritance in the Alchemy Tower."
In the crowd, Celeste nodded respectfully at Severin and congratulated him. "Congratulations, Severin. You must have obtained the ancestral treasure."
Seeing Celeste's despondent expression, Severin waved his hand and said, "It was all pure luck."
'Pure luck?' Hearing this, Celeste pursed her lips, wanting to retort that being able to break through to the ninth floor could not be just luck. However, as she tried to speak, she found herself at a loss for words.
She had realized that in less than two years, the gap between herself and Severin was widening in every aspect! Celeste shook her head. She wanted to express some heartfelt words, but her gaze caught sight of several peak masters flying towards them in the distance.
