Allen's eyes widened, and he felt a surge of turmoil within him. He could clearly discern the profound advantage provided by the Godly Meridian method, as it was an enhancement of his clan's Concept of Visualization. The latter merely tempered one's physical body to a limited extent, but Severin's method compresses all meridians into a condensed space. Every cell underwent a transformation and could almost resemble a mini energy core where vital energy and blood could be stored.
A level one supreme paragon could use that method to raise their strength to that of a level three paragon!
For the barbarics, that technique surpassed any divine weapon due to how it augmented one's genuine power rather than relying on external artifacts. The difference between a protective divine weapon and one's attainment was that the former was external while the latter was internal.
Allen took a deep breath and snapped back to his senses. Sporting a stern expression, he bowed respectfully to Severin and said, "Your generosity toward the barbarics will not be forgotten."
He then recalled his earlier opposition to the grand priest's suggestion of gifting Severin certain skills. Looking back, he found amusement in his actions. He anticipated that the Concept of Visualization would end up being butchered, but Severin did one better and presented him with an enhanced version of it.
Severin smiled and waved his hand, channeling an invisible force to straighten Allen up. "You don't need to be so humble. This gift is but a small token of my appreciation for all that the barbarics have done for me."
Unaware of the context surrounding Allen's deference to Severin, the other barbarics nearby exchanged bewildered glances as they witnessed their leader's out-of-character response.
"What's happening?"
