Severin curled his fingers and seized all the spiritual energy of heaven and earth within a thousand-mile radius. A thick white spiritual fog enveloped the four women, and it soon formed a spiritual energy vortex that was about the size of a small mountain.
About half an hour later, Diane was the first to stabilize in the breakthrough. Her aura no longer fluctuated like before and had begun to exude the aura of a royal paragon. She then opened her eyes abruptly, shooting forth a radiant glow. She soon smiled at Severin before saying, "I'm going to face the thunderbolt tribulation now. Please take care of Gilda and the others."
Severin nodded. He raised his hand and summoned the Oculus Blade from thin air. After taking it out, he said to her, "Take this."
Diane took the blade without hesitation and rushed out of the Green Emperor's Pagoda to confront the ominous thunderbolts. Meanwhile, Severin maintained vigilance over Gilda and the others. Not long later, Diane successfully navigated the thunder tribulation, and her royal paragon aura roused many disciples from their slumber as it extended throughout the Cave Paradise.
As Severin was watching over his other three wives, Gilda became the second to make a breakthrough to royal paragon. When she made that breakthrough, the tribulation that previously subsided began to rage once more.
Gilda opened her eyes slowly, revealing her pupils that shone like stars. Having sensed Severin's aura during her seclusion, she was extremely grateful to him and said, "Thank you for protecting me!"
Severin glanced at the tumultuous thunder outside and urged, "Time for you to face the tribulation. You can use the Oculus Blade that I've lent to Diane."
Gilda nodded and vanished from sight as she rose swiftly into the air. Amidst the thunderous booms, she was able to weather the tribulation swiftly.
Sheila then became the third to open her eyes. The relentless thunder that had persisted for half a day had shaken the disciples who had been in retreat within the Green Emperor Pagoda.
