Lending support to Northsea's barbarics was the third elder, Heath, and the fifth elder, Cuthbert. Neither specialized in combat, and their attainment levels were only at level eight supreme paragon. They were still a half-step away from reaching level nine, but that gap should not be underestimated due to how much it might be magnified in the eyes of ninth-grade practitioners.
Upon hearing the conversation between the two elders, Sherman suddenly recalled that Mohsin was heading to Southsky. He murmured, "Could this whole thing be related to Southsky?"
The initially stunned Carson exchanged a glance with Sherman before scoffing, "You're overestimating Severin. He's only a level three supreme paragon, and Mohsin is a whole five levels higher. Just because he has a mere protective divine weapon doesn't mean that is enough to bridge the gap between five realms."
Willette agreed and shook his head. "I find it more believable to expect that Mohsin was killed by the people in Northsea than in Southsky."
As they finished speaking, the jade slips on their waists vibrated, indicating they had received a message. It was a message that Severin sent to Amethyst and several elders after he had dealt with Mohsin. Having gained the upper hand in Harson Pass, some positive news might allow them to secure an opportunity for a counterattack. However, Carson and Willette glanced at the token in confusion and froze in place as soon as they discovered that it had been from Severin.
Their animated demeanor from earlier had disappeared completely, and they all stood dumbstruck with their mouths agape. Sherman noticed the sudden shift in demeanor and asked curiously, "What's the matter?"
Snapped out of their stupor, Willette glanced oddly at Sherman and asked, "Do the people of Greatflare possess some divine techniques that allows you to predict the future?"
Sherman was taken aback by that question. He widened his eyes and exclaimed, "Are you suggesting that Mohsin did show up in Southsky?"
