Elsewhere, within the Grandiuno Sect, Oskar was in seclusion to further enhance his understanding of the Rules of Heaven and Earth when he detected a sudden shift in the sect's atmosphere.
His soul throbbed faintly as he discovered a pronounced increase in the law of creation from Pearl Light Isle. The anomaly captured Oskar's attention, and he cautiously extended his divine senses across the entire sect.
"That's... That's the aura of a solar spirit!" Oskar exclaimed as his divine senses discerned the changes in Severin's primal spirit aura.
The primal spirit was made out of pure solar power and remained untainted by dust. It had an inscrutable nature, capable of wielding rules and conjuring forth elements! As far as Oskar knew, only legendary half-immortals could condense their souls into a solar spirit. Ascending from level nine supreme paragon to true immortality marked a huge leap and transformation in the hierarchy of existence.
The prelude to becoming an immortal was attaining perfection in spirit, essence, and energy alongside mastering one's path. Essence represented one's vitality and the locus of life; it was the source of mana honed by the practitioners. Energy and spirit encompassed one's physique and primal spirit, respectively.
Most of the half-immortals in the major sacred lands had achieved perfection in two aspects—the final one thus became the obstacle that hindered their breakthrough to true immortality. That being said, Oskar viewed mastery of one out of three aspects as being an extraordinarily rare feat for someone who was a supreme paragon.
He acknowledged Severin's freakish talent, yet not once did he ever expect Severin to have condensed his solar spirit right away. With one of the three conditions for immortality fulfilled, Severin only had to achieve the peak in essence and energy.
