Severin's expression soured upon receiving the message. Sensing his shift in demeanor, Diane and the other girls immediately knew that something was amiss. Gilda asked softly, "Is it the sacred land? Are they in trouble?"
Severin nodded gravely as he snapped back to his senses. "Northsea needs our help. The Sect Leader requested my aid to support the barbarics."
The alliance between Northsea's barbariacs and the Grandiuno Sacred Land made Northsea's plight equivalent to losing an arm for the Grandiuno Sacred Land. Severin could not accept such a prospect, and his expression changed abruptly upon learning of the emergency.
Diane and the other women left hurriedly as soon as they comprehend just how urgent Northsea's situation was. As Severin gazed at their figures, he took a deep breath and displayed an icy resolve.
"I'm coming for you devils!" he muttered under his breath. The space around him distorted, and he disappeared from the courtyard in an instant.
Moments later, Severin materialized in the main hall of Grandiuno Sect. Oskar, Roman, and the others who had just returned from Pearl Light Isle were all smiles. They made some very favorable deals with Severin for pills and were able to get their hands on rare eighth-grade pills that royal paragons needed to advance.
When Severin showed up abruptly with a solemn expression, Oskar's initial astonishment shifted to that of concern. He wondered if Southsky had fallen victim to another invasion. "Hello, Severin, is something the matter?" he greeted, rising to his feet.
Severin wasted no time and immediately assumed his central seat as the Grand Preceptor. He glanced across everyone present and declared coldly, "The devils have invaded Northsea. I must return to Midland."
