Horra did not have to wait long.
Severin was eager to return home, and he steered the Sumoon Airship through the void at high speed. Having just arrived at the border area between Northsea and Midland, Severin was preparing to enter the void again when a cold voice resonated throughout the sky.
"I've been waiting for you, Severin." It was filled with so much of murderous intent that Severin felt a chill down his spine along with a sense of imminent danger.
Realizing that the situation was looking bleak, Severin activated the rule of space within his body to try and forcefully break through the void and escape. To his surprise, however, the surrounding space seemed frozen. Even time had stopped flowing. Such a state extended across almost a thousand-mile radius, and even the Rules of Heaven and Earth seemed to have been suppressed.
Severin instantly deduced that the individual who wielded such immense power was a half-immortal old monster. No level nine supreme paragon could cause have had the ability to set up that sort of trap for him or suppress the rules of the outside world. Convinced that a half-immortal was intercepting him, Severin quickly sent a distress signal to Adrian.
He could already tell that his opponent was not going to go easy on him. Severin felt an immense pressure from the half-immortal even after his recent breakthrough, but he gathered his courage and gestured respectfully. "May I ask for the name of this esteemed senior who appears to be blocking my way?"
"Haha, I'm not your senior!" A cloud of black mist appeared in front of Severin, revealing Horra's true form.
Severin's heart thudded with fear when he witnessed the terrifying power emanating from Horra, as if there was an invisible hand choking his neck and drawing forth the hidden feelings of fear from his heart. His anxiousness continued to grow after he recognized the emblem of the Darkness Sacred Land on Horra's garments. "A half-immortal devil!"
