Horra soon noticed that his arm had been thoroughly shattered. He winced under the severe pain.
He channeled the power of rules to cover the wound and tried to regenerate the broken limb. After all, a half-immortal old monster would have been strong enough to have perfected two of the three qualities of spirit, essence, and energy. That alone made him a powerhouse within the entire Bleurealm.
He had almost reached the end of the path he forged, and the Rules of Heaven and Earth he had practiced have also been perfected. Resurrecting via a drop of blood, as well as repairing broken limbs, could be accomplished with ease. However, Horra soon made a very disconcerting discovery—his half-immortal body began to collapse following the wounds that had been inflicted! The area where his limb had been severed seemed to contain an unending power that corroded his body.
"How is this possible! My body has been tempered to that of a half-immortal! I simply need to reach great success in my solar spirit to open the gates of heaven and become immortal. How could my body be so vulnerable?!" Horra roared in fear as his scalp turned numb.
With no time to consider his next move, he took out several elite-quality pills and threw them into his mouth. He simultaneously mobilized his mana and used the power of rules to suppress the wound from spreading further.
It was then that Horra managed got get a good look of the green light that injured him. It was the small palm-sized tower that hovered right before Severin.
The tower's color was purplish-gold, and its surface seemed to bear finely carved patterns that contained the terrifying might of heaven and earth. After feeling the terrifying aura from the Green Emperor's Pagoda, Horra's pupils shrank violently and screamed, "That's… that's an immortal treasure!"
As an old monster from a sacred land that had dominated the Bleurealm for countless years, Horra had much experience and knew an immortal treasure when he saw one. He had no doubt that the small green pagoda in Severin's hand was the real deal! The power of an immortal weapon was far stronger than a level-five protective divine weapon like the Oculus Blade for the simple fact that it was a magic weapon used by immortals—it contained at least 3,000 rules that allowed it to bear the might of heaven and earth!
