Life After Prison by Silencieux novel Chapter 2807

After exchanging several hundred blows, Horra's battered, bruised, and blood-soaked body were covered in numerous wounds. He trembled uncontrollably due to the residual power of the Green Emperor's Pagoda spreading across the wound on his broken arm.

When he saw that he was not able to defeat Severin even after making several dozen moves, Horra started to feel anxious. Severin's continuous attacks had left him fearing the worst.

"How many more divine techniques does this boy have?"

Horra glanced at the crumbling space around him and felt his heart sink. "I can't drag this battle any longer. I need to kill him as soon as possible."

Once the Nine Nether Space that he created had been shattered, the shockwave of the battle would sweep across tens of thousands of miles in an instant. It would be felt in Midland, Northsea, and even Eastplain. Should that happen, then many of those half-immortals would almost certainly be alarmed.

If Adrian knew that his disciple had to suffer in Horra's hands, it was pretty much a given that Adrian would go all out to end Horra's life. Although the two forces have already started a war, Horra did not want to be the catalyst that sparked another war between the half-immortals. That was the reason he chose to set up a trap in such a far-out place.

With that in mind, he glanced at the injuries on his body and ascertained that they were not fatal even though there were a lot of wounds. The only thing that troubled him was the wound that was inflicted by the Green Emperor's Pagoda earlier. The rules from the pagoda continued to linger, which frustrated Horra tremendously.

The situation was not much better on Severin's end. His green robe had taken a maroon hue, and his aura was starting to wane. His physical body, which was usually as strong as a divine protective weapon, was covered with wounds so big that his bones were exposed.
