Life After Prison by Silencieux novel Chapter 2816

In the past, the Green Emperor had wielded his power to defeat his adversaries, even when those adversaries had attained immortality. Upon hearing of Horra's self-destruction and demise, Grenn wasted no time in rushing over.

He emerged from the void and raised his hand to try attack Adrian. The sudden tension on the field snapped Severin back to attention as he was still recuperating from his wounds. His master, Adrian, had been weakened by the aftermath of Horra's self-destruction and was no longer as strong as before. Another mishap could lead to disaster, especially with a level nine supreme paragon like Baldwin observing from the wings.

Severin's heart sank at the realization. He stood prepared to employ the Oculus Blade and the Green Emperor's Pagoda and was willing to bring his foes down even if it meant heaving to sacrifice himself.

A fierce-faced Grenn prepared to deliver his blow when Adrian, devoid of emotion, bit his tongue and spat blood onto the Emerald Blade he was holding. In an instant, the blade produced an unprecedented, majestic sword beam, that cleaved through countless laws.

"Think I'm afraid of you?" Adrian's cold gaze pierced through Grenn. He took one step forward, and his figure radiated a cold, divine glow. As the inevitability of a huge battle loomed, a thunderous voice boomed throughout the area.

"Don't you dare lay a hand on Adrian!" Jaxon, the barbaric's grand priest, stepped out from the void. His half-immortal aura rippled through the void as he positioned himself before Adrian. An icy gaze appeared from his eyes as he looked at Grenn and Baldwin in the distance.

Since his emergence from Northsea, Jaxon had relied on his divine senses to monitor changes on the battlefield. Initially elated to find that the fallen individual was Horra instead of Adrian, his joy quickly turned to concern upon sensing Baldwin and Grenn's presence.
