Life After Prison by Silencieux novel Chapter 2853

Severin gleefully stowed away the Green Lotus Gold and calmed himself down before entering the final room. The treasure room as a whole was huge, divided only by two corridors. Alongside those corridors lay numerous court-like chambers. Severin, as the one leading the line, saw numerous treasures that he did not find particularly interesting. From metal Uru and fine gold to various types of herbs, those that were of little use to hm ended up the hands of Heath, Mona, and a cadre of other disciples.

As he scanned the remainder of the room, Severin finally set his sights upon the final chamber at the end of the corridor.

It was distinctly lacking in any peculiar phenomena—there were no radiant lights, no purple-hued mists, nor any celestial beams filling the air. Instead, it boasted simple furnishings of stone benches and tables. A sense of bewilderment gripped Severin, and he wondered if that was the resting place of the dragonoids' elders.

In his confusion, a potent aura of rules crashed over him. With his keen divine senses, he was instantly able to pinpoint the origin of those fluctuations, strode forward with determination, and his vision landed on a jade box resting upon a green gold shelf.

He unlatched the box and saw five thumb-sized seeds, all of which were brimming with the richness of rules and principles. They shone so bright that one had to squint a little to avoid damaging one's pupils. At the same time, they pulsated with the essence of life as they voraciously absorbed the spiritual energy of their surroundings.

Even a level six supreme paragon like Severin found himself filled with an irresistible urge to consume them and refine them. "Could it be? Is this the seed of a celestial herb?!" he exclaimed, nearly losing his voice.

Unlike ninth-grade herbs that possessed the Rules of Heaven and Earth, those seeds exuded a pure immortal light that was suffused with dense purple energy. There could be no other treasure capable of provoking such fervor in him other than the legendary celestial herb!

Such herbs had long vanished from the face of Bleurealm, leaving behind only rumors of their existence. The designation of a celestial herb itself encapsulated their significance. Birthed by the heavens and earth and imbued with rules, those herbs could survive for epochs like the essence and blood of a true immortal. Severin had never fathomed that such treasures could be found within the confines of the dragon palace.

On second thought, however, the dragonoids' ancestors held dominion over Bleurealm spanning countless millennia. It had been the thousandth generation, making them at least on par with that of a sacred land.
