It did not take Severin long before he was struck by a sudden realization. "If this seed absorbs rules, and I've already just reached great success with the rule of creation, then I might be able to plant it in my inner world!"
The world within him could serve as a nursery for cultivating such herbs. Moreover, the rule of creation was able to bring things into existence out of nothingness in addition to restoring life without much effort.
The seeds had been left untouched for an indefinite amount of time, and using the rule of creation would be just the trick that could coax them into sprouting! At the same time, the river of time flowed within his inner world. The time within a hundred feet radius at the river's center seemed to accelerate much like the twentyfold time increase within the Green Emperor's Pagoda.
The opportunity to bring forth life from those dry seeds was there.
With that thought, Severin swiftly brought the seeds into his inner world. As they settled next to the long river of time, he gently channeled his thoughts and connected instantly with the rule of creation to condense a millstone-sized green spiritual fluid, which brimmed with vitality.
He gently placed a drop of the liquid onto the seeds, but it was such a shame that four out of five seeds were too old to sprout even with the aid of natural laws. Fortunately, the last remaining seed seemed to transform visibly before his eyes. The tough seed coat cracked open as a green shoot popped out and took root in the soil.
In mere moments, the shoot grew into a sapling, and the sapling absorbed and engulfed the rule of creation in a voracious manner.
Several days had passed in the external world, and in that time, the sapling had flourished, blossomed, and bore fruit. It grew to become a ten-foot-tall tree. Several peaches adorned its branches, emanating an alluring and sweet fragrance. Those peaches, with their green stems, reddened under the sun's gaze and exuded an even stronger aroma.
As they ripened, rays of light burst forth and illuminated the sky. The fiery rules within the red skin morphed into inscriptions, making them look like hot coals capable of burning the surrounding void.
