Severin was a little taken aback when he laid eyes on the river. No longer able to contain his surprise, he grinned and exclaimed, "The river of time!"
Though the river was more ethereal rather than tangible, it was undoubtedly the genesis from his inner world's origins. Should he be able to elevate that inner world into a Small Thousand World, the river of time would undergo complete evolution too.
At that realization, Severin took a deep breath to quell his astonishment. He then proceeded to redirect his gaze and return his consciousness to his physical body.
"Phew... I'm much stronger now that I've made a breakthrough to being half-immortal. Fusing time and space has boosted my strength tremendously, and I will be able to single-handedly subdue Xavier if I encountered him again!"
At that moment, Severin felt that he could hold his own against a true immortal!
Nearly all three thousand laws had been condensed within his inner world and comprehended at least to beginner level.
With the rule of creation reaching perfection, he was granted a boundless vitality that allowed him to recover in the face of severe injuries without suffering any damage to his foundation. His mastery of swordsmanship had reached completion, conferring upon him a swiftness and ruthlessness that positioned him above those of the same attainment as he was.
Furthermore, time and space had been fused into the space-time path which held greater authority than the other rules and laws. Every other path would have to submit to it, with none daring to defy them. That was his trump card, and the cornerstone of his future ascension into immortality.
After spending two additional days within the Green Emperor's Pagoda, Severin finally emerged from seclusion with a fully-consolidated time-space domain. As he stepped out of the Green Emperor's Pagoda, he extended his fingers to calculate the time and realized that a fortnight had passed in the outside world.
Half a year within the pagoda was equivalent to half a month outside. The rule of time was truly a wondrous art that Severin was much in awe of.
