Life After Prison by Silencieux novel Chapter 2925

Carson and Willette were just about to come to Severin's aid when the scene that unfolded before them left them speechless and dumbfounded.

"Just how strong is he? He put in nearly zero effort to subdue that half-immortal puppet," Carson exclaimed in shock as he was overcome with turmoil.

They had both suffered at the hands of Wendigo's puppet and barely escaped with their lives, but Severin had reduced it to ashes in just a single move. Such strength was frightening, to say the least.

Willette, who was still reeling from the shock, gulped and asked, "Have you become an immortal?"

He understood the Wendigo puppet before them to be immensely powerful, as his combined effort with Carson was not enough to breach the puppet's defenses, let alone defeat it. One could imagine how shocked Willette was when Severin had annihilated it so effortlessly.

"Not yet," Severin replied, smiling faintly at their astonished expressions. He had just attained half-immortality, completed the second of the three prerequisites, and almost completed his understanding of the space-time path. However, those factors were not yet enough to serve as the foundation for becoming a true immortal.

His combat prowess was about the same as Wendigo's puppet, meaning it had far surpassed that of those who were at the same level. His physique rivaled that of an celestial weapon and exuded an earth-shattering power. Even the dragons and beasts of yore could not match up to him.

Above all, he possessed the space-time path, which was considered to be among the highest-ranked of all the three thousand paths. Though he had yet to become a true immortal, the power of those rules was already thoroughly engraved within his being, be it his organs, bones, or his meridians. A mere lift of his hand could produce mirages depicting a royal celestial's descent and golden lotuses blooming in the sea of suffering.

Heaven and earth would struggle to contain his power, which could shatter even the void. Such strength rendered a half-immortal or a puppet completely helpless.

Following Severin's answer, Carson and Willette looked at him as if he was a monster. None could tell just what they were thinking from their expressions.
