Life After Prison by Silencieux novel Chapter 2953

As Severin drew closer to the Ancestora, their aura intensified and the pressure began to mount.

When they were approximately ten miles apart, both parties halted. They eyed each other warily as radiant laws surrounded them like a vast ocean, sweeping across the thousand-mile expanse and dissolving into the boundless void.

Emerging slowly from the shroud of malevolent aura, the Ancestora treaded upon the air and peered down with a sneer. "I've spent eras planning this. All have fallen into my design, yet you were the anomalous factor that achieved immortality ahead of schedule."

There were many reasons behind the Ancestora's desire to kill Severin, but the sight of Severin standing toweringly with the radiance of a celestial being spurred a begrudging admiration from the Ancestora.

"Submit to me," the Ancestora declared, his expression oozing contempt and his tone remarkably indifferent. "Once I've reshaped this world and ascended as Lord of the Realm, I'll grant you a position above ten thousand, yet below only one."

The Ancestor was confident in himself and his stratagems. He had once evaded even the Green Emperor's methods and could only be suppressed rather than killed. With the accumulation of eras' worth of vitality and blood, his strength had surged, rendering Severin's recent ascension to immortality seem inconsequential in his eyes. He even held a trump card which he kept close to his chest—a card as yet unplayed but ready to deploy in dire circumstances. Should he be cornered, the Ancestora would call upon a certain force to manifest his physical form even if it meant the annihilation of Bleurealm itself.

Severin's expression remained frosty as he retorted, "Tch. Here's my counter-offer: surrender and I'll kill you quick instead of blowing you to pieces."

Be it their previous assault by the Primordial Sacred Land and the demonic forces or the six-month-long bloodbath in Eastplain, Severin viewed such actions as the deeds of nefarious heretics. Having inherited the blessings and knowledge by the Green Emperor Pagoda, Severin bore an irreconcilable enmity with the Ancestora. There was no reason to trust the words of one so tainted.
