Severin might not know what Ultimate Sublimation was, he sensed that something was amiss with Eliza.
The path of death in Eliza's body had surged dramatically, as if the wielder had become the omnipotent master. The energy of death from the surroundings were all gathering in Eliza's position.
The strong wind blew Eliza's hair, and his countenance shifted drastically to exude an aura of supreme authority. He resembled an emperor commanding mountains and rivers, gazing down upon all creation with pride.
With an air of calm superiority, Eliza glanced at the oncoming sword beam and effortlessly sent it away. He glanced at Severin and said in a measured tone, "You're one of the lucky ones who forced me into employing Ultimate Sublimation."
He advanced forward and vanished immediately from the spot. Chains of deathly energy then began to coil around Severin like vengeful serpents.
Yet, Severin swiftly countered with the Oculus Blade, parrying away the deathly chains as the blade's formidable swordwill filled the sky. His hopes for a brief respite were dashed by the sudden alertness which overtook him. He employed the law of space and vanished in an instant.
The next moment, the law of death erupted from the void and punctured the ground with molten magma. Holding a spear condensed from gray mist, Eliza materialized above the position Severin was and was left somewhat surprised that Severin could evade so easily.
Most ordinary true immortals would find it difficult to avoid his sneak attack when, especially when he was in his Ultimate Sublimation state. Dodging the attack would be even more difficult! Yet, Severin had succeeded in doing so, which further fueled Eliza's curiosity over him.
With a grin, Eliza thrust his spear forward, unleashing a mighty force that sent shockwaves throughout space and time. A barrage of spear lights beams shot into the sky, tearing through the fabric of reality and penetrating the chaotic void. Although Severin found himself challenged by Eliza's Ultimate Sublimation state, he reacted swiftly and channeled the power of heaven and earth from his Small Thousand Worlds to his body.
