Severin had faced desperation before, and it took him a painstaking amount of effort to corner Gyddur within his own space-time domain. There was no chance he would allow Gyddur to slip away.
Severin suppressed time and space with his powerful spiritual consciousness. All of a sudden, the Oculus Blade vanished suddenly from his grasp, as if whisked away by some unseen forces
"You'll perish!" Gyddur's clone erupted in a fury as he sensed an imminent threat to his existence. "To think you've been hiding a trump card until now. Such cunning for one so young!"
In Gyddur's eyes, Severin was but a puny speck that toyed with forces beyond his comprehension. However, being ensnared within Severin's space-time domain left Gyddur feeling a genuine sense of peril—the first during the battle.
Gyddur's clone then tapped his forehead and unleashed the formidable aura of a quasi-royal celestial. The surrounding space quivered as he sought to shatter the cage shackling him. However, a chill gripped Gyddur's heart as an icy sensation shot from the soles of his feet to the top of his head. "Something isn't right!" he realized.
In the blink of an eye, the Oculus Blade materialized less than ten feet away from him. Caught off guard by the proximity and the constraints of the space-time realm, Gyddur's past self could not react at all
"Strike!" Severin ordered, sending the Oculus Blade cleaving through the laws along with the aura of destruction. The head of Gyddur's past self was slashed off with hardly any difficulty.
Severin waited until Gyddur's breath was no longer before retrieving the Oculus Blade in a hurry and sighing wearily. "That was close," he muttered, knowing that he had been at risk of dying that day.
As Gyddur's form crumbled, a violent explosion tore the border sea and carved a vast chasm into the chaotic void.
The true immortals and quasi-royal celestials nearby snapped back to awareness with the deafening blast. With their eyes wide in disbelief, they turned to Severin and glanced at him in surprise.
"How... how is that possible?"
