Those two old bags Lawrence and Libra won't be able to withstand this much longer. I will guarantee your survival if you surrender to us and become my partner. Perhaps you might even get the chance to ascend to the rank of quasi-celestial regent."

Callide rolled her eyes and spat out mercilessly, "Not a chance. It is you who should be surrendering to us. I shall consider sparing your life if you do so."

Lawrence has his hands full, while the Clear Wind Sect and Tri Celestial Island are both occupied with their own respective threats. Who do you expect will come to your aid? Are you still clinging to hope that Severin—who has been in seclusion for centuries—will suddenly swoop in to save you?"

Rumine's heads wore a contemptuous expression as he mentioned Severin's name. The dark upheaval would not have erupted prematurely had Severin not killed Luther a hundred years prior.
