- Leaving the Borg Island
Alice carried her backpack and walked out of the inn, only to see that everyone was looking at Daniel, Daniel stood alone at the beach, his gray hair had a layer of luster on it.
Looking at that snow-white short hair, Alice's heart ached. She stood there without moving as the sound of footsteps came from behind her.
She turned around, only to see Sue walking out from the house with her backpack, she had a hand holding the backpack belt, she raised her head and looked in Daniel's direction. She froze in place, the backpack slid off her shoulder and fell to the ground.
No one could believe this scene.
Alice stood there, turned her eyes towards Sue and said, "Sue, I already know everything, thank you."
Sue was embarrassed, "My sister's matter is my matter, I must accomplish her wish, no need to thank me."
"I'm not thanking you on behalf of your sister, I'm acting on behalf of my foster father." Alice said as she looked at her, "Even if you are a fake, this is still the greatest consolation to foster father. I believe that you are definitely the reason why he can hold on."
There was always less despair when it came to having a daughter.
Hearing that, Sue looked at Daniel who was by the shore, and was lost in thought.
"Actually, you don't hate foster father that much, right?" Alice said, "In this world, many people only think about not regretting it at that time. They would never think about not regretting it in the future."
Thus, people would always live in their regrets time and time again.
Sue's eyes dimmed, she looked at the ocean and said, "I have to admit, the ocean around Borg Island is the most beautiful ocean that I have ever seen, the sunrise is the most beautiful sunrise."
Such a stubborn girl.
Alice wanted to smile, but she couldn't. She turned around and hugged Sue, "Sue, I hope that when you go back home, everything will go smoothly for you."
Hearing this, Sue's eyes turned sore.
These days, her life in the Berg Island had been thrilling. She had experienced lies, betrayal, death.
Even the sunrise was so beautiful.
Alice hugged Sue. Her hands froze for a few seconds. She then grabbed her back and turned her gaze to the beach.
Daniel stood there. There were clearly so many people by his side, but he seemed so lonely and helpless.
Sue suddenly let go of Alice and bent down to pick up her backpack. She looked up at her and said as if she had made some sort of decision, "For my sister, I am willing to live in her name forever. I don't mind doing everything for her."
Alice looked at her in shock. Sue had already turned towards Daniel's direction. She walked all the way to Daniel's back. "Father."
Daniel shook violently. Only after a long while did he slowly turn his face towards Sue.
Sue stood there and smiled at him, "I've been away from home for too long, my adoptive parents missed me so much, I have to go back now."
Daniel looked at her without moving.
"But my birthday is coming up in a while. Can you come and stay with me?" Sue smiled and asked. Daniel stared at her blankly.
Alice slowly walked forward and stood beside William, looking at them.
As Sue finished her words, the beach became so quiet that only the sound of water flowing could be heard. Everyone just stood there.
Until Daniel stood there and smiled at Sue.
Alice's heart instantly calmed down, and with a comforting smile, she looked at William.
Great.
Foster father finally smiled.
Suddenly, Sue turned her head to look at William.
Sue looked at him and her face couldn't help but blush again. After thinking for a moment, Sue mustered up the courage to walk in front of William.
William hugged Alice as he glanced at her in disdain.
Just by looking at William, Sue's face was so red that blood could even drip from it. She pursed her lips and suddenly opened her hands towards William: "Mr. William, I'm about to leave, can I hug you?"
"..."
Alice looked at Sue in astonishment. This young girl was really amazing.
Hearing that, William instantly turned agitated, he stared coldly at Sue: "What did you say?"
How could there be such an untactful woman?
"Can I hug you?"
Sue refused to give up as she said this, her face was extremely red.
Daniel looked at Sue in shock, and the people at the side all looked like they were watching a good show.
